One Word for David Duval: RETIRE

David Duval is off to yet another stellar performance at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. His rounds look like this: 82,79,85. Meanwhile, Joe Oglivie, the current leader, is now 53 strokes ahead of Duval, who like usual is sitting alone in last place at 30 over par.

David Duval, do yourself, your friends, your family and all of us a favor, stop embarrassing yourself and retire.

Just the facts...from 1923

In 1923, Who Was . . .

1. President of the largest steel company?

2. President of the largest gas company?

3. President of the New York Stock Exchange?

4. Greatest wheat speculator?

5. President of the Bank of International Settlement?

6. Great Bear of Wall Street?

These men were considered some of the worlds most successful of their days. Now, 81 years later, the history book asks us, if we know what ultimately became of them.

The Answers:

1. The president of the largest steel company. Charles Schwab, died a pauper.

2. The president of the largest gas company, Edward Hopson, went insane.

3. The president of the NYSE, Richard Whitney, was released from prison to die at home.

4. The greatest wheat speculator, Arthur Cooger, died abroad, penniless.

5. The president of the Bank of International Settlement, shot himself.

6 The Great Bear of Wall Street, Cosabee Livermore, also committed suicide.

However, in that same year, 1923, the PGA Champion and the winner of the most important golf tournament, the US Open, was Gene Sarazen.

What became of him? He played golf until he was 92, died in 1999 at the age of 95. He was financially secure at the time of his death.

The Moral: Screw work. Play golf!

Is Vijay Singh a dick?

Vijay Singh's caddy, Dave Renwick, is taking a break from schlepping for Vijay.

"I just wasn't happy with the ways things were going or the way I was getting treated, " Renwick said. "I never got a 'Good morning,' or 'Good club' after a shot, or 'Have a nice night' at the end of the day. It was either nothing or a negative if he did speak to me."

I don't think Vijay is a dick, I think Dave Renwick is a complete moron and a baby. Dave, you work for Vijay, that is it, you should do your damn job and enjoy the big fat checks you were taking home. He is your friggin employer, he pays you to work for him. No where in the employee, employer relationship does it state that you also have to be friends or have a personal relationship.

How stupid is Dave Renwick? How do you leave the number one player in the world because he didn't say good morning? Are you that hard-up for friends?

This move is as smart as Phil Mickelson switching to Callaway during the middle of the best year of his career last year. It's like wiping your ass before you take a dump. It just makes no sense. No Three Putts is back, beyotch.
