Seems to me the The Golf Channel's PGA Tour broadcaster Kelly Tilghman has potentially ruined her career. You see, Kelly made the racist comment that today's young players should lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley.
Yes. she apologized two days later... but WTF was she thinking? And why didn't TGC make her apologize that day?
I'm not a fan of Tiger Woods myself, but to make racist comments like this are absurd.
Will she get fired? Should she get fired? Is Arnold Palmer's former caddy a racist? WTF should happen? I'm sure there will be more to this story soon...
And of course The Golf Channel has NOTHING about her comment on their homepage. Instead there's some lame article about Daniel Chopra winning in Kapalua. Who the hell is he anyway?

I PERSONALLY AGREE WITH HER ASSESMENT OF TIGER AFTER ALL THE SHENANIGANS HE HAS PULLED OVER THE YEARS ===
kellys lynching comment while apprehensible is not her biggest problem. its her propensity to over analyze every shot on the course.plus doing it in this right out of broadcasting school too trite voice.i do think she is hot so i hope she stays around.
I dont know who the first dumb #$#% was who commented on here but she is a racist moron that should be gone. No respect for the greatest golfer in the game today no way to start off the new year!
I think it's a pile. There was no racism in that remark. "Lynch" is not specifically limited to blacks. The stupid NAACP simply doesn't have enough to do. I guess there can be no more airing of "Hang 'em High" anymore, either.
What would you do to beat Tiger Woods? I don't think she meant anything by it. I don't know anyone who could beat him at the present.
Hell folks, leave it alone. Lets not start sounding like that idiot Al Sharpton. You know she didn't mean it to sound like that. uit reading into it.
Anyone who spends as much time in public view will eventually say something that offends someone...I don't think it was meant in a bad way, and people are overreacting...if I were Tiger that statement wouldn't bother me; btw, I am a person of color...there are always insecure people who will be offended by the slightest thing, why waste so much energy on a little slip of the lip? There are so many more inappropriate things that going on that should be addressed.
every person on earth has sometime or another said somthing racial.blacks say honky and use the N word towards each other, give me a break and leave it alone.
I think someone should put the comment in context. Kelly did not suggest that anyone be lynched. She commented that riding the tour of tiger was the only way that some of the younger golfers would ever stand a chance of winning. Beating him up, lynching, kidnapping were mentioned in jest as possible ways to allow younger golfers a chance at winning. Tiger was flattered. All of the trouble came from the mouth of "that Great American?" Al Sharpton. You remember Al, don't you? He was the one that backed Twana Brawley's lies and was the first race baiter out of the gate to call for the lynching of the Duke lacrosse team. Kelly apologized for her remarks, Sharpton has never apologized to anyone, even though he has been caught in over 100 publicly ddocumented lies intended to harm the reputations of white people. The real problem here is the lack of fortitude exhibited by the management of the golf channel. If Arnold was still active, Sharpton would never have received a response. I expect that Tiger has already told Sharpton to butt out.
Kelly Tilghman is the best and brightest new faces golf commentary has seen in a long time. The paranoia our society has reached about what a racist comment is ridiculous. I hope she is back ASAP! Scranton Pa. misses her.
Al Sharpton should be lynched for being the biggest racist of all, except for perhaps Jesse Jackson.
Quote by Black American: She is getting the shaft because of this politically correct society crap going on.
I'd like to give Kelly the shaft, but apparently that isn't her cup of tea.
Looks like she's back! And I'm so happy about that. Not sure she'll be doing the play-by-play but she did do a special segment on the Golf Channel regarding the Masters.
It was good to see her and hear her deep voice :-)
